This is one in an ongoing series inspired by the shapes of the sandbanks that disappear and re-emerge with the rise and fall of the tides. It is made from beach plastic set into a resin base with added plastic details and etched lines. The pin is a fibula style made from a single piece of recycled silver. The colours are reminiscent of the boats in the harbour that sit on the mud and sand at low tide. It measures 6cm wide.
