This pendant combines blue plastic bottle lid - softly melted to mimic the same undulating surface of an oyster shell, matched with a cast silver disc with a star detail cast directly from the pattern on the inside of the bottle lid. It's designed to mix up and confuse natural and industrial influences. This piece speaks of the contradictions in our marine environment - bottle lids litter the beach sitting uncomfortably alongside oyster shells.
